Got up, made coffee and breakfast and watched the bugs.

We drove to the trailhead and hiked to Balconies Cave where bats are supposed to be.

[Karen here] I’m sure there was a lot more to learn but the brochure was in Spanish and we didn’t have phone service to text Kitty with all of our questions.








Did a little exploring up in the cave. It was more like huge boulders had fallen down to create the cave.
Saw a few snakes along the way.

Saw a lot of turkey vultures but no condors until…
