Hiked to Scout Cave with a stop at Pioneer Names.  Light sprinkle on the way out.  The rain got heavier on the way back.

The morning started off with a light rain.  It didn’t look to bad so we started a hike toward Scout Cave.  We stopped of at Pioneer Names.  Some of the dates are 1881, 1882…  Written in axle grease.

To the left of Pioneer Names, a couple of climbers were heading up and I didn’t know if they were going to get stuck in the rain before finishing up

We hiked past the “beach” or sandy dunes,

and then down to Scout Cave.

It was a nice little hike up there.  See the hole in the middle of the rocks below.

It started to get pretty stormy like on the way back. We made it back to the trailer just in time,
